New Music from Nashville

I just returned from an amazing Nashville trip! I recorded 4 songs in less than 2 days, which you can look for on my site soon. One of the songs I recorded was for Reba McEntire herself! The song is called “Stronger This Time” and is slated to be pitched to her in the next 2 weeks. Hopefully she likes the song, and me in the process. I also met with my producer Stephen Leiwiki to create a tentative timeline for The Beauty Queen Project. We are slated to begin pre-production the last weekend of February and hope to wrap up mid April. So now what must be done is laying down scratch tracks for some of the newer songs I have written, and begin the process of song selection. This may not seem like a daunting task, but trying to choose 5 songs from over 400 original pieces is my idea of an anxiety attack! Aside from this whirlwind of recording and song selection, my songs have garnered the interest of a very successful Nashville writer who owns a publishing company. And we are in the process of publishing some of my songs to get them into the hands of churches, mainstream artists, music supervisors, etc.. I’ve had a very busy start to the New Year. I created a project called “The Beauty Queen Project” which received an overwhelming response and has been fully funded. You can check it out at kickstarter.com
